Training and Organizational Development Programs
Employee Training is an important part of the Organizational Development Work Plan. The Training Team and Executive Management staff of the City of Beverly Hills, responded to the overwhelming employee interest in training obtained over a year of organizational outreach, introduced the City’s on-line employee training catalog and class registration system “BH Campus”. The classes offered implement a comprehensive training program that builds on the premise that there are different kinds of training for various levels of staff within the organization. The program will ultimately link relevant, practical, fun and purposeful employee training to organizational development, employee performance evaluations and the accomplishment of the Citywide work plan objectives.

SUCCESSION PLAN PROGRAM
The Succession Plan Program of the City of Beverly Hills identifies and develops the best people for key leadership roles and is integral to the future success of the organization. It is a process that increases the likelihood that current workforce members will be competitive when vacancies occur and that recruitment efforts are targeted in the appropriate direction. The Succession Plan program also ensures the continued effective performance of our organization by establishing a process to develop and replace key staff over time.
