On January 5, 2022, City Council adopted the Wilshire Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard Design Standards developed as part of Connect Beverly Hills: Meet me on Wilshire and La Cienega project. The Design Standards identify specific styles of street furnishings and plantings to make more attractive and walkable corridors. The Design Standards are intended to be implemented through public and private projects that reconstruct the public right-of-way, including private developments, City CIP projects, and Metro subway construction.
