 Business Interruption Fund


Metro’s Business Interruption Fund (BIF) provides financial assistance to small “mom and pop” businesses located along Phase 1 of the Purple Line Extension that are impacted by transit rail construction. 

Metro’s BIF is administered as a pilot program in partnership with the Pacific Coast Regional Small Business Development Corporation (PCR).

Eat, Shop, Play is a campaign intended to bring focused attention on businesses impacted by construction of the Purple Line Extension Project.

Eat, Shop, Play makes it easy for you to Eat at local restaurants, Shop at local retail stores and Play at local destinations.  https://www.metro.net/riding/eatshopplay/ 


The goal of the marketing campaign is to make it easy for consumers to eat at local restaurants, shop at local stores and play at local destinations within the project areas.
