• For BHUSD students or BH Residents (must show proof of residency).
• Current student ID must be presented.
• Event will be supervised by Community Services staff.
• Students are not permitted to leave event prior to 10pm without adult supervision.

Teen Advisory Committee

Teens in Beverly Hills now have an avenue to stand up and be heard, in addition to making a positive difference in the community. If you ever wanted to be part of a leadership group that was dedicated to action, here’s your chance. In its 5 years in existence, the Teen Advisory Committee has assisted the City with the following projects:

• Created a Teen Leadership Day for Beverly Hills Teens
• Assisted the Community Services Department with many special events
• Continued to give the Teens viewpoint regarding the City’s recreational needs.
• Gave input on the new Teen Zone in the library
• Created new elements to the Teen Dances
• Created an 8th Grade only dance
• Started an Outdoor Adventure Club

Any student in the 7th - 10th grade is invited to attend the Teen Advisory Committee meetings.  The meetings are typically held on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 5:00-6:00pm. For upcoming meeting dates, please call 310.285.6810.

Applications are now being accepted for NEXT school year’s Teen Advisory Committee 

The Teen Advisory Committee application can be found on-line at www.beverlyhills.org/teens.  The new 2013 - 2014 Committee year commences in September 2013.  The application deadline is Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Applicants must be entering 7th - 10th grades AND be a Beverly Hills resident.
