Division Mission
The Department of Transportation is a division of the Public Works & Transportation Department.  The division's mission is to add to the residential quality of life and to contribute to the economic vitality of the business districts through programs subsidized or supported by fees that are responsive to the community's needs.

Transportation is comprised of:

Administration

• Senior resident Dial-A-Ride and Fixed Route Shuttle programs
• Senior resident taxi coupon program
• Trolley tours/charters
• Regional transportation issues/projects
• Liaison to the Traffic & Parking Commission

Operations/Customer Service

• Issues all parking and operating permits (e.g., residential preferential parking permits, residential overnight parking permits, taxi, valet, etc.
• Parking Citation Adjudication
