Transportation

The Transportation Planning & Traffic Engineering Division strives to find optimal solutions that balance the transportation, parking and traffic needs of our community. We work closely with the Traffic & Parking Commission, comprised of City residents, to improve existing programs, such as preferential parking permit zones, and develop new programs. We also monitor and develop reports on regional transportation and air quality issues. We believe in responding to community concerns in a prompt, professional and respectful manner.

Below are some of our programs and projects. You can also view more projects on the navigation menu on the left.

Complete Streets Plan

The City of Beverly Hills is in the process of developing a Complete Streets Plan, which will be a guiding document that aims to balance the needs of all users – those walking, biking, taking transit and driving – to address mobility for everyone throughout the City. All members of the community are invited to fill out the Complete Streets Plan survey at www.beverlyhills.org/completestreetsSURVEY and to attend upcoming workshops and community “pop-up” events. The first community pop-up will be held at the Farmers” Market during Earth Day on Sunday, March 15, 2018.
