FAQ - Do I need a permit for a demonstration?
You must speak with the Traffic Division in the Police
and they will determine whether a permit is required. Traffic Division can be reached at (310) 285-2190.
FAQ - Where do I go if I need to look at the plans of a building?
Microfilmed plans of most buildings in the city are stored in Community Development; contact the Building and Safety
Records Technician, located in the Building and Safety Department, or phone 310-285-1158.
FAQ - What are the requirements for telecommunications installations?
The requirements and processing of telecommunications installation varies depending on the location of the actual installation. Please consult with Planning
staff for further information and detail on a particular location.
FAQ - Where can I get a zoning map showing a particular property or lot?
A copy of the City of Beverly Hills zoning map is available in the Building and Safety
for viewing. You may also contact Planning staff at 310.285.1141.
FAQ - How do I obtain a parade, assembly, or amplified sound permit?
Parade or assembly permits are issued by the Police
Emergency Service Bureau. Contact Lt. Timothy West at 310.285.2175 to discuss the application for these permits
at (310) 285-2467. Please notify the Public Works
at least seventy-two hours prior to the meeting so that reasonable arrangements can be made to ensure accessibility.
