The City of Beverly Hills and Consulate General of Israel in Los Angeles present a temporary art display as a memorial for the victims of the October 7th, 2023 attack in Israel. The art installation includes 1,400 flags, with each flag representing victims from over 30 nations whose lives were lost in the attack.
The Consulate General of Israel’s Office first presented the concept of a flag display to the City Council back in October 2023. To honor the victims, the City approved two temporary installations: A Shabbat table was displayed every Friday from November 15 - December 15, 2023, and now the Flag display will be installed in the Beverly Hills Garden Park until May 15, 2024.
