The City Council of the City of Beverly Hills combined the Strategic Planning Committee and the Southeast Task Force into one Committee effective April 9, 2019. The new combined Committee is known as the Strategic Planning/Southeast Task Force Committee and will meet monthly on the 2nd Monday of each month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber located at Beverly Hills City Hall. The focus for the upcoming meetings through April 10, 2020, will be the southeast portion of Beverly Hills.
The membership of the Strategic Planning/Southeast Task Force Committee is open to anyone and as such all are encouraged to attend. In addition, members of the public are invited to sign a written acknowledgment that they will commit to regular attendance at the meetings and provide an email address to stay informed about upcoming meetings. The goal of the Committee is to preserve and enhance the beauty and attractiveness of Beverly Hills in order to build upon and increase its value as:
- An international shopping destination;
- A destination for dining, entertainment and cultural experiences;
- A leader in innovation, professional support and development;
- A livable, walkable and bike-able city; and
- A model as a safe and healthy destination.
